National Zoo and Aquarium Month - Celebrate Conservation in Your Area!
June is National Zoo and Aquarium Month! In case you missed our last post, we love being as eco-friendly as we possibly can here at ExpressMed.
In Southern
San Diego Zoo and Safari Park
The San Diego Zoo and Safari Park is actually two different locations. The Zoo is located in Downtown San Diego, so if you're spending part of your summer with us, check out the Nighttime Zoo they have all summer long. From June 17 through September 3rd, you can stay after dark in the park for many special events.
The San Diego Safari Park has an expansive campus that is 1,800 acres! Check out what they have scheduled for this summer here.
Birch Aquarium
The Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institute of Oceanography is not only beautiful but educational as well. Every full moon you can walk the pier that is normally closed to the public! Check out all these events going on year round.
All of these locations belong to the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA). That means they are accredited with conservation focused missions. And they are eco-friendly institutions as well.
